The convenient parking was a bonus and the location was great, with just a short 5-minute walk to the town center. Our stay at Salt Yard Cottage No 1 was marred by an uncomfortable bed. The mattress was too soft, and it felt like hitting a hard base when sitting on it.

This charming cottage is perfectly situated near the sea and the bustling high street. the location offers easy access to local amenities and a variety of dining options. the cleanliness of the cottage is impressive, with guests commenting on its modern decor and well, thought, out amenities. the comfortable bed and well, appointed facilities ensure a comfortable stay.
Some guests have mentioned that the sofa bed is uncomfortable for longer periods of sitting, and the lack of blinds in the kitchen lounge area allows for early morning sunlight to stream in.

Salt Yard Cottage No 1 is a charming little gem situated in a prime location. The cottage is beautifully designed and well-equipped, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. The added bonus of a garden courtyard and car parking space is a plus. I particularly loved the proximity to all the attractions nearby.
Although the settee was uncomfortable, it wasn't a major issue since we spent most of our time exploring the area. Additionally, the duvet felt a bit heavy and warm, which made sleeping slightly less comfortable during the warmer months.
